Amy Lee
Co-Chief Executive Officer

Amy Lee has been with PBS since 1998. She provides the PBS representatives with compliance services and procedural guidelines. Her knowledge in the compliance field is extraordinary and has helped the firm to maintain an excellent standing with all regulatory institutions. Amy has also helped to establish very positive working relationships with the FINRA. She holds the Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. Her hard work and diligent efforts have been a tremendous asset in keeping PBS compliant. Amy has a genuine concern for the welfare of all Packerland representatives.
Zach Kelly
Co-Chief Executive Officer

Zach Kelly has been with the firm since November 2006, and is the Financial and Operations Principal of the firm. He holds the Series 28 license, and brings with him a background in finance, statistical analysis, and database administration from Wells Fargo and the University of Minnesota. Zach’s duties include managing the financial, commissions, technical, and administrative departments at Packerland, and being the administrator of company databases and technology. Zach is also in charge of recordkeeping and reporting, including the filing of the company’s FOCUS reports.
Aaron A. Doelger
Director of Marketing and Education

Aaron Doelger began his career in financial services in 2000 and came to Packerland in 2005 as a financial advisor. In 2006 Aaron joined the New Business Department at the Packerland home office and moved into Compliance in 2008. In January of 2011, he joined the Leadership Team and became the Director of Marketing and Education where his focus is now on marketing, communications, and the development of Packerland’s educational platform. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse in 1996 and has since earned his Life, Health, Property, and Casualty insurance licenses as well as the Series 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations. His passion is to help representatives navigate the highly regulated environment in which they work so hard to make a living – formerly through compliance, now through education.

Zach Kelly
Director of Finance and Operations

Nancy Geniesse
Commission Specialist

Nancy has been with Packerland since March of 2000 and has a background in administration and customer service. Nancy’s primary duties include overseeing the Accounts Receivable and Commission departments, and she is the main point of contact for representative questions concerning compensation. Nancy’s other duties include processing weekly commission payments, validating daily commissions, and working with various product companies to verify commissions.
Nancy Longworth
Commissions Specialist

Nancy joined Packerland in March 2011 with over 10 years of back office experience in the financial services industry and customer service. Nancy’s duties at Packerland include processing weekly commission statements, backup for the commission runs, assisting with representative questions, work with various fund companies to verify commissions and perform data/product clean-up. Nancy also has a background in Personal Insurance, which earned her designations of API and AINS.

 

Licensing
Charlene Watzka
Senior Licensing Coordinator

Charlene Watzka has been with Packerland Brokerage Services, Inc. since March 2003. Prior to working at Packerland, Charlene was employed as a licensing analyst with Humana for fifteen years giving her a strong background in the insurance industry. Charlene leads our licensing department which is responsible for the registration and appointments of our representatives. In addition, Charlene maintains all corporate licensing as required, files registration amendments for representatives, assists with Errors & Omissions Insurance and licensing renewals, and updates our internal data to maintain accurate representative information. Because of Charlene's diligence and dedication, new Representatives experience a smooth and seamless transition to Packerland Brokerage Services, Inc.
Joanie Ness
Administrative Assistant Licensing Dept.

Joanie Ness has been with Packerland since December of 2007. As an Administrative Assistant in the Licensing Department, Joanie brings with her many years of experience in customer service. Her duties include processing variable company appointments, tracking FINRA Regulatory Element CE exams- including notification to representatives, and fingerprinting Representative Assistants. She also assists Charlene with pre-hire screening and registrations. Her attention to detail and follow-up plays a vital role in maintaining accurate records for all representatives. Joanie enjoys traveling, golf and playing with her grandchildren.

 

Southwest Securities
Todd Wodek
Director of Brokerage Operations

Todd Wodek comes to Packerland Brokerage Services as the Director of Brokerage Operations bringing twenty years of industry experience to the team. Todd graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1990. Holding the Series 4, 7, 8, 24, 55, 63 & 65 securities licenses, he has an extensive trading background in retail trading while at Olde Discount Brokerage and institutional trading while at Piper Jaffray and ThinkEquity Partners. During his time with ThinkEquity Partners, he ran the Minneapolis Equity Trading Desk. As the Trading Desk Manager with Packerland Brokerage Services, his primary focus is working with representatives to grow assets, increase awareness of market sentiment, and take advantage of all the opportunities offered with the Southwest Securities partnership.
Bernie Boushka
Trade Desk Specialist

Bernie Boushka operates our in-house Southwest Securities Trade-Desk and also is a consultant for the quarterly financial reports submitted to FINRA. He has been with the firm since August of 2002. Bernie holds the Series 4, 7, 24, 28, 53, 63, and 65 licenses.
Chris Hopkins
Trade Desk Specialist

Chris Hopkins comes to Packerland Brokerage Services assisting in the operation of our in-house Southwest Securities clearing firm as our Trade Desk Specialist . Chris’s primary responsibilities include assisting representatives and clients with products and trades, helping to ensure suitability requirements are met, and providing client service for all aspects of brokerage account maintenance. He brings with him 10 years of experience in financial sales and operations as well as experience in prospecting new business, sales of financial products and services, office management, and compliance. Chris studied at the University of Oregon, majoring in Political Science, and he currently holds the Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses.

 

New Business
Jessica Czech
Compliance Officer and New Business Coordinator

Jessica Czech brings tremendous value to Packerland's New Business Department with her knowledge as an experienced New Business Coordinator. Her responsibilities include completing the suitability and Principal review of forms and applications for all direct lines of business as well as assisting representatives with any questions they may have about submitting business via direct application. With a background in multiple areas of banking as well as her experience working with investment advisors, Jessica holds the Series 7, 24, and 63 Securities Licenses as well as Life and Health insurance licenses. Jessica was recently promoted to the position of Compliance Officer but continues to Principal fund direct new business applications for the firm.
Jen Behling
New Business Processor

Jen Behling joined Packerland in April 2011 with several years of back office experience in the financial services industry and customer service. Jen's duties at Packerland include entering and updating customer information, updating products, and entering receivables into our software systems. She performs data clean-up and ensures proper workflow processes. Jen also is responsible for scanning and indexing entries into our imaging system and tracking new business flow to our vendors. In her spare time, Jen enjoys camping, four-wheeling, swimming and bonfires with her fiancé, 2 daughters, step daughter, step son, and her dog, Macy.

Dusty Rhodes
Technology Support

Dusty began working as an Administrative Assistant in May of 2008 and brings with him over 10 years of customer service experience and a degree in Business Management and Marketing. In addition to being a point of first contact, Dusty’s primary duties include database administration, technology, and selling agreements. Dusty also provides our representatives with support for email, website, and Laser App questions and also provides rep transition support. He currently holds a Life and Health License. We are confident that his good organizational skills and accuracy have helped Packerland to be the success that it is today.

Ciara Carley
Executive Assistant

Ciara joined Packerland Brokerage Service in September of 2008, bringing over 10 years of service experience with her. Her primary responsibilities include administrative support for the Leadership Team at Packerland, and she is a main point of contact for resource, planning, and project coordination for events. Ciara is also in charge of planning events such as the Advisory Council trip and the Fall Conference, as well as scheduling meetings and travel arrangements for home office staff and representatives. Ciara also fills in for other departments with administrative support, data entry, and research as needed.
Dusty Rhodes

Mary Kempen
Accountant

Mary Kempen works part time for PBS as an accountant. She has been with the firm since March of 2005, managing our payroll and reconciliation. Mary also assists in the monthly preparing and proofing of financial statements. When she is not at Packerland, Mary applies her 30+ years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting to manage the finances of various clients. Her expertise began with an Associates Degree in Accounting from Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College.
