Administrative Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW

Packerland Brokerage Services, a broker dealer servicing financial advisors, has added a position and is seeking a bright and talented Administrative Coordinator to join our growing team. Key Accountabilities for the role will include the following:

  1. Execute daily tasks to ensure prospects are on track to join Packerland's Broker-Dealer
  2. Maintain the databases and other information to keep Packerland's prospecting & marketing effective
  3. Work with other departments in the organization so representatives have a great onboarding experience
  4. Assist the director of recruiting in the day-to-day functions of the department


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

College degree preferred but not required in lieu of experience


Experience

A minimum of two years in an office administration role or similar experience


SKILLS

  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to collaboratively work with representatives and internal team members
  • Highly organized and able to create an organized and easy-to-follow system for others
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and duties simultaneously
  • Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including speaking clearly and persuasively
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, and CRM’s
  • Excellent Excel knowledge and data analysis

Brokerage Operations Principal Team Lead

Key Accountabilities for the role will include the following:

  1. Act as leader of the Brokerage Operations Team.
  2. Principal review of brokerage and Envestnet advisory transactions and enforcement of policy.
  3. Provide customer service to Packerland reps through the processing of daily brokerage transactions.
  4. Provide overall support to the Brokerage Operations Team.
  5. Keep up to date on company policy and industry rules.
  6. Coordinate and provide training and communications to the field and Brokerage Operations Team.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

College degree preferred but not required in lieu of experience.


Experience

A minimum of three years in the securities industry 


Licenses

Required: Series 7, 24, and 65 or 66

Preferred but not immediately required: Series 4, 53


SKILLS

  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to collaboratively work with clients, representatives, and internal/external partners to resolve inquiries and issues
  • Strong relationship building skills with a focus on our clients and representatives
  • Ability to make quick decisions and work effectively in a time-sensitive environment
  • Brokerage business experience and/or call center financial services experience
  • Strong oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of regulatory (SEC, FINRA) requirements
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, DocuSign, Laser App, and relational databases
  • Envestnet advisory platform knowledge

Direct Business Principal

Key Accountabilities for the role will include the following:

  1. Daily processing and suitability review of representative business per FINRA regulations
  2. Create and maintain Direct Business policy
  3. Training representatives, staff, and OSJs on Direct Business policy, procedures, and systems
  4. Must be a resource to OSJs and new representatives coming onboard to Packerland and strive to identify NIGO trends to be more efficient in suitability review


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Experience

A minimum of three years in the securities industry 

Experience in a principal capacity preferred 


Licenses

Required: Series 7

Required within 90 days of hire: Series 24 or Series 26

Preferred but not immediately required: Series, 52, 66, 4
